Interesting fact about the safety role at DeLong’s. The first safety professional was hired in 2016, which reinforced our safety culture and program. We are still working on perfecting our safety culture, but for only 3 years since our first safety manager, it has been night and day difference.We have cut down on OR and Darts by 50% and have noticed a gradual decline every year in injuries.
