Hello friend and welcome to Women in Safety and Health (WISH)!
We are excited to introduce ourselves! Founded in 2017, WISH continues to grow and look for new ways to engage and connect with women in the industry.
We are a nonprofit organization, and there is no fee associated with WISH membership. Since membership to WISH is free, some events require a per person fee. If you decide to sign up for an event with a fee, you pay and commit at that time. We understand that circumstances may prevent you from attending, but please keep in mind there are no refunds.
Mission Statement
The Women in Safety and Health (WISH) Group launched in 2017 with the mission to inspire, mentor, support and equip women to reach their full potential within the safety and health fields. Above all else, we are a sisterhood building each other up through networking and mentoring, supporting each other with positive encouragement and motivation, in both our professional careers and personal lives.
If you are interested, you can connect with other WISH members through Facebook and/or LinkedIn. We welcome questions and comments regarding anything professional. Your email will be added to our distribution list and can be removed upon request.
Additionally, some of our WISH members are also members of American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSP), and of those ASSP members, some are also part of the special interest group, Women in Safety Excellence (WISE). If you would like information on ASSP St. Louis and/or WISE and would like to attend meeting(s), please reach out to the WISH Core Four for additional information.
